Again, no formal meetings took place today.  The Chairs of the Company and Union bargaining teams met this morning to discuss the Company's intent in bargaining.  The Company apparently has changed direction and does not seem to want to reach an agreement at all.

Workers At Risk With New OSHA Appointment

Edwin G. Foulke Jr, former lawyer at the notorious anti-union law firm of Jackson Lewis is the new OSHA chief appointed by the Bush administration. According to his comments, corporate America will enjoy a weakening of safety standards by pushing blame for accidents on workers. The assault on workers continues and now it will affect our brothers and sisters who at the most risk for injury and loss of life on the job.
