CWA Local 3250 Holiday Message |

This year has been one of the most challenging we have had in years. Contracts at AT&T and Avaya expired and let us not forget Alcatel-Lucent who continues to engage in a business plan that resembles a train wreck. We have members at each of these company’s who work under conditions that are stressful and at times unbearable due to the bean counters that are daily changing quotas and measurements of productivity. What has been constant throughout the year is our ability to support our brothers and sisters in the workplace. Our strength is our solidarity.
2009 is almost at a close and our successes have been many. We have weathered many struggles together and prevailed on many issues because our cause has been just. Through our solidarity we will continue to build on these successes. May we remember all the workers who toil and struggle throughout the year and may our road be blessed so it may continue to rise and meet us with the wind always at our back. The CWA Local 3250 Officers and Staff wish all our members’ and their families a wonderful and safe holiday season. Thank you for your support in 2009 and we look forward to working with you in 2010. Fraternally, Roy Hegenbart President CWA Local 3250 |
