Today the company presented two proposals across the table.

 
The first proposal would increase the Avaya Award Target amount by 1% each year, but change the language to have the components that are measured to be at the discretion of the company each year.
 
The second proposal addressed the Academic Award program for the next agreement.
 
The Unions are reviewing the proposals and will respond at the appropriate time.
 
The next formal meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 10: AM. The company will have proposals on Disability Plans and the  ERC & Health Care Coordinators. In addition we will have sub-committee discussions on the RFE field work.
 
Your bargaining committee will be working on proposals and counter proposals to respond to the company demands.
