For our Members’ convenience, we have compiled and numbered the most popular management lies. Now when you are telling a story about the treachery of your bosses, you can simply refer to each lie by its number. For example, “He told us No. 6 at the meeting, what a bunch of ….” This will save you a lot of energy and time when you discuss Management deceit in the workplace.
1…Employees are our most valuable assets.
2…That’s a very interesting question; I’ll get back to you with an answer.
3…It’s not us, it’s headquarters that made this decision.
4…Sorry, but we just received that information.
5…Training is a high priority.
6…Your input is very important to us.
7…You were given prior notice.
8…You can tell us, it’s off the record.
9…If we work really hard, this office will stay open.
10…You don’t need a union rep.
