Pusateri, Chairman, System Council T-3, IBEW Re: eLink Transition In support of the transition of pre-merger AT&T employees to the eLink system, information regarding this new system will be provided to employees during the week of November 6, 2006. Because the transition to eLink and change in pay frequency will affect the way payroll deductions are withheld from an employee’s paycheck, the timing of certain deductions and manner in which they are represented on an employee’s paycheck will change. Attached is detailed paycheck stub and deduction information that is being shared with pre-merger AT&T employees to assist them in transitioning to the new eLink System. Pre-merger AT&T employees who currently receive their paycheck or paycheck stub at their home address will be notified of a change that will become effective with their first 2007 eLink paycheck. In eLink, printed paychecks or paycheck stubs will be delivered to their work location through their assigned Paycheck Distributor (PCD). This change will be automatic and no action will be required by employees. In addition, information on training on the eLink System will be provided to employees who have time reporting responsibilities. I will update you as additional information becomes available relating to the eLink System. Regards, Lori J. Smith cc: D. Bradley
