Workers at Alcatel Lucent are fighting back. Alcatel Lucent thinks it can take away the security clearances of U.S. workers and give those jobs to contractors. That’s wrong Alcatel Lucent wants to cut 12,500 quality jobs around the world. That’s wrong. Click onto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnkufTWsK3c to hear CWA President Larry Cohen and CWA VP Ralph Maly.
We’re standing up for workers rights and against an Alcatel Lucent management that thinks it can take away everything that we have worked to achieve over decades of bargaining. Across America and around the world, we will look for support, from the U.S. Congress and European governments, from the global labor movement and from citizens and communities that want to stop this company’s outrageous behavior. Our message to Alcatel Lucent: Stop Stripping Our Jobs and Our Rights! In Unity There is Strength. C o m m u n i c a t i o n s W o r k e r s o f A m e r i c a |
