Regarding the AT&T lay-off announcement of April 23, 2007 concerning the NTS techs, the company is waiting until after the VTP window closes to review where they are as far as any surplus in the NTS title.
As stated previously, once the VTP is over we will look at where we have contractors in GCA's or adjoining GCA's to see if the surplus can be alleviated. Our goal is to keep our members working and remove the contractors where necessary.
