CWA and Tucker Technologies have reached an agreement. The Final Bargaining Report is a summary of the Agreement negotiated by CWA and Tucker Technologies. The agreement takes effect on February 6, 2006 and expires 11:59 p.m. May 9, 2009.
CWA – TUCKER TECHNOLOGIES FINAL BARGAINING REPORT 2006 APPENDIX 1 – Wage Rates Wage Schedule w/Health Benefits w/o Health Benefits Effective 2/6/2006 $16.48 $17.00 Effective 2/5/2007 $16.97 $17.50 Effective 2/4/2008 $17.40 $17.94 Effective 2/2/2009 $17.79 $18.35 ARTICLE 3 – SECURITY Union Orientation for New Employees The Company and the Union agree that the Union will have the opportunity to meet with newly hired employees as part of the overall orientation process for the purpose of furnishing them with information about the Union. The Union's segment of this process will be limited to a maximum of sixty (60) minutes. Time spent during the basic scheduled work period for each employee will be paid as time worked. In addition, the Company also agrees to introduce employees transferring into a different work groups to the local Union representative assigned to that area. ARTICLE 21 – HOLIDAYS New Holiday: Day After Thanksgiving. APPENDIX 2 Training Training will be offered by the Company to employees by seniority. APPENDIX 3 Distant travel reimbursements Per Diem increased to $85 dollars per day. APPENDIX 4 Announcement of Job Openings All new positions will be offered by seniority to regular employees first before Company announces position to all qualified applicants.
