Roy Hegenbart President Local 3250 See Attached Letter: To: Roy Hegenbart CWA President Local 3250 From: David B. Hagan July 6, 2007 Re: Resignation Notification Dear CWA Executive Board: I regretfully inform you that I am resigning from my position as CWA Vice President of Local 3250 for Alpharetta’s AT&T and Lucent Technologies locations. My decision to resign from my post is based upon my recent employment opportunity. My new job will not afford me the opportunity to attend to the daily duties of my elected office; therefore I cannot deprive the membership of the proper representation they deserve. At this present time I don’t see how I can balance these two responsibilities without one or both of these areas being impacted in the wrong fashion because I am unable to give my full attention to both of these endeavors. My resignation is effective July 9, 2007. Please convey my deepest heartfelt apologies to the universe of employees that voted for me and to those I supported. Respectfully, David B. Hagan David B. Hagan CWA Vice President Local 3250
