Nominations forms to fill the vacancy for Vice President representing Alcatel/Lucent and AT&T Members’ at the Alpharetta building locations have been sent out in DR packages. To obtain a nomination form, please see your Dept Rep in your workplace or contact the Local and we will make sure you receive one. The nomination form must be mailed back to P O Box 2488, Norcross, GA 30091, no later than August 9, 2007. (No faxes or mailings to the Local office will be accepted.)
Pursuant to Article XIV of CWA Local 3250 By-Laws:
Section 1A-Qualifications of Local Officers and Convention Delegates
1. Attend a minimum of five (5) Membership Meetings in the 12-month period immediately proceeding and election, excluding out of state Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Section 8-Vacancies
(D) “Vacancy in the office of Vice President of the Local may be filled by an election within sixty (60) days after the vacancy occurs, and such vacancy may be temporarily filled by appointment of the Local President.”

Remember, the nomination form must be mailed to P.O. Box 2488, Norcross, GA 30091, no later than August 9, 2007. No faxes or mailings directly to the Local 3250 office will be accepted.
