AT&T: EAP and New Vendor
Thursday, 09 August 2007
In January of 2007, AT&T Legacy T transferred to a new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) vendor that was being utilized by SBC. The Company replaced Magellan Health Services with Value Options. The national number for EAP is now 800-554-6701; for emergencies use prompt 1; for referrals use prompt 2. Representatives are available 24/7.  AT&T employees are entitled to four (4) meetings on company time and this service can also be utilized for family dependents of current AT&T employee's.

EAP has counselors that are trained to deal with a host of issues that an employee may encounter and which could effect their wellness on or off the job. The EAP is a valuable employee resource and CWA has been a true partner with AT&T in establishing this benefit for our Members’. EAP has been instrumental in assisting our Members’ with work related stress, relationship issues, family counseling, depression, grief resolution, and substance abuse to name just a few.

The EAP was established so all employee’s can receive, free of charge, the assistance they may need during a difficult period of their life. We hope our Members’ will continue to utilize this valuable program.
