Summer is a time of great need for the Food Bank; they are called upon to help out with many camps and various programs for children. With increasing prices and rising unemployment in our area, the shortage of canned and dried foods that the less fortunate members of our community depend on, continues to grow.
CWA Local 3250 along with the Atlanta North Georgia Labor Council’s Community Services and Events Committee is sponsoring a food drive in conjunction with the Atlanta Community Food Bank during the month of July. Last year’s event was a success; however with your participation we can make a measurable difference. Collection receptacles have been placed in the Atlanta metro area at the following locations:
• 300 Northpoint Pkwy, Alpharetta
• 800 Northpoint Pkwy, Alpharetta
• 2800 Century Center, Atlanta
• CWA Local 3250, 350 Mitchell Rd, Norcross. Collection of items will be on August 2nd. If you have any questions please contact your area Vice President. Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.
